As part of ISO 9001, we comply with all relevant environmental legislation and define the impacts which our operations have on the environment. We promote good environmental practice and eliminate or reduce negative environmental impact. We extend this to the solutions we offer our customers whenever possible, and are happy to advise on the best technical and environmentally-sound solution.

Virtualisation - Fewer servers consuming power, lower cooling requirements
Terminal Services - Thin clients and low-powered PCs at the client end consume much less power than the average PC, which spends most of its time idle but uses a relatively large amount of energy to do this. Old PCs get a new lease of life and can be replaced less frequently.
Co-location - State-of-the-art facilities with highly efficient cooling systems with costs related to power usage, therefore providing incentive to use power-efficient systems.
Energy-Efficient Hardware - Our hardware suppliers (for example HP) design energy-efficiency into their systems. Should you need to purchase new hardware from Wanstor, you can be assured that it will use the latest technology to keep down your energy costs, and benefit the environment.
