How did you come to work at Wanstor?

I’ve had a varied career working in Property, Hospitality, Healthcare and Business Intelligence. Following a lengthy break from the corporate world to travel, it was time for a new career path putting the experience i've gained to good use in a field I’ve always been passionate about!

Describe your typical day at work...

I like to get in early to make sure I’m set up as we’re typically looking to have around 20+ apps and tabs running at any one time to efficiently cater for requests that come through. This mean a high rate of fast first call resolutions, keeps customers happy and reduces overall workload on the service desk.

What are the most challenging aspects of your role?

When a completely new type of request comes through that I haven’t personally dealt with, it can challenging tracking down the necessary info quickly with a customer on the line. Fortunately, my SDM sits right next to me and is always willing to help point me in the right direction.

What makes you happy at work?

By far the best thing about Wanstor is its people. Everyone on the Service Desk is treated equally irrespective of role, which allows for a more relaxed environment; which, in turn, means increased productivity. The pace of work is also ideal, meaning that time literally flies by!
